Bring a mate: the terms

Written to be read, not to hide things.

The draw

Each calendar month is a separate draw. Entries close at month's end, Sydney time (or the close shown on the page), and winners are drawn at random from eligible entries shortly after.
Some months run a themed drive with several prizes and several winners. When they do, the winners pick from the prize pool in order of verified referrals: the member who brought the most mates picks first. Each winning entry is drawn as a pair: the member, and the mate that entry names.
You get one entry for each mate who signs up to GameDay Squad using one of our codes and whose signup is verified by GameDay Squad. No limit on how many mates you bring, and one entry per mate.
"Verified" means the full job on GameDay Squad: they entered the code when they signed up, verified their identity on the platform, and set a team. An entry counts for the draw that's open once all three are done.
Entries are matched against GameDay Squad's verified signup records. If the username you give us doesn't match a verified signup, the entry doesn't count.

Prizes for each draw are shown on the Bring a mate page and announced on our socials, with their retail value at the time. The total prize pool for any single draw is capped at A$3,000.
New-player prizes are shown on the Bring a mate page and go to the mate side of a drawn pair: if an entry wins, the mate it names receives one. They are a bonus for winning pairs, not something every new player receives.
The pack bundle unlocked by our signup codes is separate and automatic: every new player gets it regardless of any draw.
Prizes aren't transferable or redeemable for cash.

Winners are contacted using the details given on the entry form and announced (first name or handle) on our socials and the winners wall.
If we can't reach a winner within 14 days, we redraw.

The promoter is The GameDay Society, based in Queensland, Australia. The draw is open to Australian residents aged 18 and over, except us and our immediate families. GameDay Squad accounts are 18+ under their terms, so the mate you bring has to be too.
Entering the draw means confirming you're 18 or over and accept these terms. There's a box for it on the form.
This is a game of chance run to promote our content and our partner platform. Entry is free: you never pay us anything to enter or to win.
We keep the records of each draw for five years, and we publish the winner on our socials and the winners wall.
We earn a commission from GameDay Squad when people sign up using our codes. That's what funds the prizes.
Entry details are used only to run the draw and send prizes. We don't sell them or add you to anything you didn't ask for.
Duplicate, fabricated, or self-referred entries are removed. Be a good sport about it.
